There is an image of Vice President Jejomar Binay with two Caucasian looking soldiers in an almost awkward gesture of handshake is circulating the Internet with the caption: “US soldiers stop VP Binay from entering UN relief center?”

To everyone who pass this photo (below) of Binay and wrongly captioned it for the benefit of politics posted from a Facebook profile of Kenneth Brakeston, this is all wrong.

The picture above with a caption telling the story that the VP “tried to enter the restricted area of (United Nations) UN Humanitarian Relief Centre” is wrong based on this navy site: Navy.mil – View Image

So this is the real story… (below)

GUIUAN, Eastern Samar Province, Republic of the Philippines (Nov. 16, 2013) Hon. Jejomar Binay, vice president of the Republic of Philippines, left, shakes hands with Rear Adm. Mark Montgomery, commander, Battle Force 7th Fleet, center, during a shore visit in support of Operation Damayan.
