On September 20, Ben&Ben thanked their fans and supporters for the success of their songs on Spotify during their exclusive interview with RAWR Nation.

Ben&Ben member Agnes Reoma thanked their fans Bubblies and Liwanag for the support. She also expressed gratitude to the supporters of the artists they collaborated with within their sophomore album.

“Grabe, grabe po talaga. Sobrang thankful po kami sa mga Liwanag, and also ‘yung Bubblies and A’TIN and lahat ng sumu-support sa mga naka-collab namin kasi sumama sila sa amin, we usually drop our mga singles, ngayon album ng twelve midnight, so nakipagsalubong sila with us.”

Agnes also recalled how their fans and supporters eagerly wait when they drop their singles on the music platform.

“So feeling talaga noong ni-launch namin siya, New Years Eve. ‘Yung lahat kayo, naghihintay ng twelve o’clock. Then after twelve o’clock everyone’s listening to the same thing. So sobrang thank you talaga Liwanag and everyone’s who’s streaming ‘yung song namin.”

Miguel Benjamin, on the other, recalled how the band grew as musicians on their sophomore album.

“Bilang isang banda kasi ano eh. Kahit sa isang araw lang sobrang dami nangyari. And magmula noong nilabas namin ‘yung first album dalawang taon din ‘yun. At ‘yung isang taon and a half doon sa dalawang taon na ‘yun pandemic pa.

“So ang dami talagang bagong karanasan sa buhay, sa musika, na na-grow up palagay ko. Nag-grow up kami in terms of paano kami gumawa ng music. Kung paano kami maki-tungo sa isa’t isa. Naging mas close talaga kami, lalo na nabuhay kami sa isang bahay ng lampas isang taon pa.”

He also shared how their fans grew with them amid the pandemic.

“Kumbaga kumpara sa first album, mayroon talagang growing up na nangyari dito sa second album. Pero ang kagandahan rin noon, pati ‘yung nakikinig ng music nag-go-grow up din sila. Kumbaga masarap lang din na sabay-sabay kami. Kaming gumawa ng music tapos sila nag-grow up sila.”

Ben&Ben released their sophomore album ‘Pebble House Vol. 1: Kuwaderno‘ in August 2021. The 13-track album under Sony Music Philippines includes songs and stories of the group. It also features collaborations with iconic OPM artists such as SB19, KZ Tandingan, Moira dela Torre, Chito Miranda, Zild, Juan Karlos, and Munimuni.

‘Pebble House Vol. 1: Kuwaderno‘ is available for streaming via Sony Music and all digital streaming platforms such as Spotify.
