Kapuso comedienne Ai-Ai delas Alas was awarded one of the Catholic church’s highest honors formally announced by Bishop Antonio Tobias. According to Bro. Bo Sanchez, the Vatican investigated her life, her colorful past and failures, but they also saw how Jesus is working in her life, as shown by her selfless work for the poor and the church.
This award made Ai-Ai realize to let go of the past, even forgive to those who have hurt her.
“Lahat ng tao na sinaktan ako, pinatawad ko na at ako rin, humingi ako ng forgiveness sa lahat ng taong nasaktan ko, in any way, maliit man o malaki,” Ai-Ai said.
When asked about her rift with fer former friend Kris Aquino, she reacted, “Ay puwede na ok na, walang kokontra.”
“Pinakamataas na ito. Talo lahat nito. International na ito. Hindi ito basta Best Actress sa Urian,” she added.
Papal Award is one of five orders of knighthood of the Holy See bestowed by the Pope in recognition of dedicated service to the church.
