LizQuen’s movie ‘Just the Way You Are’ and the Aga Muhlach-starrer family drama ‘Miracle in Cell No. 7 led the rating charts during Holy Week.
According to the latest rating report from the Nielsen NUTAM People survey, the Star Cinema film that aired over GMA Network on Maundy Thursday, April 6, registered an 11.6 percent rating. It was followed by ‘The Bible,’ which scored 10.2 percent.
Taking the top 3 spots, meanwhile, is another Star Cinema movie aired on GMA Network, ‘Finally Found Someone.’ It stars John Lloyd Cruz and Sarah Geronimo. The movie earned a 9.2 percent rating.
In April 2022, ABS-CBN and GMA Network inked a historic deal to air Star Cinema movies on GMA Network. This opened the door for more collaboration projects between former archrival networks.
Meanwhile, on Black Saturday, April 8, Viva Films’ entry to the 2019 Metro Manila Film Festival, ‘Miracle in Cell No. 7’, topped the overall rating leaderboard.
The Aga Muhlach-Bela Padilla-led movie registered a rating of 13.8 percent, followed by ’24 Oras Weekend’, which scored 9.8 percent, and at number 3 is GMA Film’s ‘A Family History’, which registered a rating of 9.4 percent.
