True or not, it sounds good for the Kapuso Network to bring back the reality show that pioneered reality based star search in the country. “Starstruck” was first introduced to us in 2003, almost 11 years ago, and it produced some of today’s hottest young artists including Jennylyn Mercado, Mark Herras, Kris Bernal, Aljur Abrenica, Nadine Samonte, Megan Young, Cristine Reyes, Paulo Avelino, Sarah Lahbati, Rocco Nacino, and a lot more. The last season grand winners in 2010 of “Starstruck” are Steven Silva and Sarah Lahbati, Enzo Pineda and Diva Montelaba are the last runners up while Rocco Nacino ended up as the Second Prince.
I am hoping that there will be at least a little truth about this rumor because bringing this artista-search reality show is really a good idea. I’m sure, like any other reality shows, that another edition of “Startstruck” will really spice-up Kapuso fandom. I’m sure of that because I became one of them.
