ABS-CBN’s afternoon drama “Doble Kara” has found new vigor with the start of its new book. The Julia Montes-Sam Milby starrer has been fairing well lately in the ratings game as they re-enter daytime top 10.
According to AGB Nielsen Mega Manila survey conducted May 12 – 15, 2016, “Doble Kara” re-claims spot in the top 10, placing 8th and 9th on May 12 and 13 respectively. With “Doble Kara’s” re-entry Kapamilya has boosted its number in the top 10 to 3 with “It’s Showtime” and “Be My Lady.”
Meanwhile on weekend, Kapuso drama anthology “Magpakailanman” was able to snatch the lead from former leader “Pepito Manaloto”. “Magpakailanman” which features Jennylyn Mercado and Jerald Napoles took the lead in Saturday primetime with 22.5% ratings, 0.4% ahead of “Pepito Manaloto’s” 22.1%. This is the first time in long time that the Mel Tiangco hosted drama anthology was able to take the lead in weekend primetime block.
