A blind item about Kapuso actor Alden Richards and his rumored girlfriend was published today on Philippine Star written by Ricky Lo. The veteran columnist even gave some obvious clues on Alden’s ‘Mystery Girlfriend.’
The article used a thumbnail photo of Alden in red shirt with a shadow of a girl on his side.
A fan also sent us a link of the original photo used by the article.
The cropped ‘Mystery Girl’ was actually Bela Padilla on a Twitter photo taken during their guesting in “Eat Bulaga” in March 2015.
Some fans made this blind item happy thinking this could be Maine Mendoza, the other half of AlDub loveteam, but…
Just this afternoon, Alden denied the blind item.
On Twitter, he said, “Just want to clarify the circulating issue…then again, “not true”. Happy New year eblibady!!! 😃”
