After opening at₱33 million on Black Saturday (April 15), “Can’t Help Falling In Love” now grossed ₱100 million based on the latest Instagram post by its producer Star Cinema.
The official account wrote: “Congratulations Team #CantHelpFallingInlove!!! P100 million in just FOUR DAYS!!! Maraming salamat Kapamilya! Pwedeng pwede ka pa manood sa pinakamalapit na sinehan dahil #CantHelpFallingInloveDay5 na! To God be the glory!”
Mae Cruz-Alviar, the film’s director, describes “Can’t Help Falling in Love” as a return to the rom-com roots for lead actors Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo. It sees the pair portray strangers who suddenly find themselves somehow married to one another.
The film is currently showing in more than 300 theaters across the country.
