“We are grateful because doing it here in Manila is one way you [are] helping us to promote the city of Manila again. That the city of Manila is now going vibrant. Kaya maraming-maraming salamat sa GMA Kapuso,” the mayor stated according to the Chika Minute report of Lhar Santiago in GMA news 24 Oras this Wednesday, July 24.

While Richards said: “Nagpapasalamat po kami na nabigyan kami ng chance to do the teleserye here, to shoot most of the scenes here, specifically in Divisoria. Para mapakita natin ‘yung ganda ng Divisoria ngayon.”

After the courtesy call, Alden and the Kapuso stars took to Divisoria for an immersion held as a preparation for their taping. The group met with stall owners and some of their fans at the said place.

The upcoming series has been given a tentative title of The Gift. Richards will play a character that has been given the special gift of a third eye that enables him to see paranormal phenomena. It will be headed by director LA Madridejos.

Crucial details about the series have yet to be announced.
