Kapamilya star Sarah Geronimo paid tribute to her parents during her recent virtual concert produced by Viva Entertainment, TALA: The Film Concert.
The Popstar Princess’s seemed to have reunited with her parents a year after the controversy on her secret marriage with Matteo Guidicelli.
Geronimo’s two-hour virtual concert streamed on March 27 via KTX.ph and iWant TFC.
According to an article by ABS-CBN, Sarah showed old footage of her mother, Mommy Divine accompanying her with her showbiz engagements while a clip of her with her father, Delfin singing to “I Will Be Here” back in 2012.
Geronimo noted the importance of her family to her life saying: “You can have all the riches in the world, lahat ng material things na gusto mo, pera na gusto mo, popularity na gusto mo, pero kung wala naman sa buhay mo ‘yung mga pinaka importante sa ‘yo, balewala lahat ng iyon.”
She then lectured about being happy in life despite the many problems and issues. She said that she remained hopeful in life hinting that she’s hopeful for her parent’s acceptance of her marriage with Guidicelli.
“Life is not easy, may kanya-kanya tayong mga personal issues, pero focus on the positive things, be happy, be content, at enjoy,” she said.
“[I am] happy kasi in spite of all of the challenges, trials na hinaharap natin sa panahon ngayon, I choose to be positive, I choose to remain hopeful,” Geronimo added.
She previously promoted the farm products that her mother was selling on her Instagram account which made netizens think that the mother and daughter are already on their way to having a reconciliation.
The singer posted her mother’s organic fruits and vegetables on her Instagram story saying, “Freshly harvested organic fruits and vegetables from my Mama’s farm. Order now.”
