Janella Salvador reacted to Joshua Garcia’s revelation, saying that the young Kapamilya actor has a crush on her.
Salvador and Garcia worked together in the 2019 Kapamilya series, The Killer Bride.
During Salvador’s interview on Ogie Diaz’s YouTube vlog on January 27, she admitted that she knew about Garcia’s admiration toward her.
“Ah shockening! Sinabi na naman niya yon sa akin dati. Noong ‘Killer Bride’ pa, he told me at nakita ko rin ‘yung ibang interviews niya dati. So napag-usapan na namin ‘yon ni Joshua,” she said.
She admitted that she was happy with Garcia’s feelings toward her. She also commended the young actor’s respect for her.
“Ano ba ang reaksyon ko? Natuwa ako sa kanya kasi ‘yung pagkasabi niya sa akin he really respects me. So ‘yun ‘yung maganda kay Josh.
“Magiging masaya rin si Joshua. Deserve niya,” she said.
She is currently in a relationship with Filipino-British actor Markus Paterson. They have a one-year-old child named Jude Trevor.
Dating rumors on Salvadora and Paterson began in early August 2019. Both Salvador and Garcia were still in the series, The Killer Bride.
The two only confirmed their relationship in September 2020.
In an interview with Markus in September 2020, he said that he was not bothered with the love team of Garcia and Salvador. He even acknowledged the on-screen chemistry between them.
“I love Josh. Josh is a great guy and I have been a fan of him. He and Janella have this insane chemistry on-screen and I understand that and I appreciate that I see them on the screen. They’re professionals, they’re brilliant actors and actresses. They’re working,” said Markus.
