Gretchen Barretto slammed Senator Bato Dela Rosa on social media as the latter led the hearing for the missing cockfighters issue on March 2022.
Barretto is a member of Pitmaster’s Team Alpha, one of the cockfighting brands of Lucky 8 Star Quest Inc., while Bato is the chairman of the Senate Committee on Public Order and Dangerous Drugs.
In Barretto’s Instagram story on March 21, the celebrity claimed that Bato is simply grandstanding while handling the missing cockfighters issue.
“Get down to business, Bato. Stop grandstanding. Just get down to the investigation.
“Ang mahal ng relo ni Bato. Saan kaya nanggaling? My god! A senator has that much! Oh my gosh,” she said.
She then encouraged the people not to vote for Senator Dela Rosa.
“How did Bato ever become a senator? Tignan mo ang line of questioning niya. Kailangan talaga lawyer ang mga nakaupo.
“People, vote wisely. Don’t vote a Bato! My gosh! Dapat sa ‘yo game show.
“Tumatalpak kasi si Bato na ito, e. Bato, ilabas natin yung mga talpak mo kaya,” she said.
Barretto previously made the headlines when she was seen in a cockfighting event with Atong Ang.
Ang is known in the cockfighting industry as he owns an ‘e-sabong’ called Pitmasters Live.
