In a virtual media conference on Thursday, June 30, Fil-Pakistani Sparkle artist Raheel Bhyria has the semblance of singer-actor James Reid, he said, “It can be both a good thing and a bad thing.”
The 20-year-old star feared that it would make people think that he is just Reid’s copycat. However, it could also mean the possibility that he would have the same success as Reid did.
“It can be a bad thing kasi ayoko naman na ma-brand as kamukha lang ni James Reid,” explained the Kapuso talent, “Pero good thing rin kasi it’s an honor to look like someone na very high na sa career, you know, marami nang accomplishments.”
Furthermore, Bhyria said, “Never ko naman talagang inisip na kamukha ko siya, especially, if nagpi-picture. I will only think about it everytime na sasabihan ako in person. ‘Yun lang ang times na papasok ‘yun sa isip ko.”
The Kapuso artist before making his way into the entertainment scene was a model first. He then was discovered by GMA Network and eventually, handpicked by star builder Johnny Manahan to be a member of Sparkada.
In the meantime, he is part of the upcoming series LUV IS: Caught in His Arms, a collaboration between Wattpad Webtoon Studios and GMA Network. It stars Sofia Pablo and Allen Ansay. Bhyria is joined by his fellow Sparkada members Vince Maristela, Michael Sager, Sean Lucas, Caitlyn Stave, Cheska Fausto, and Tanya Ramos.
