On Thursday, June 30, Sparkle artist Vince Maristela believed that his attitude made the bosses of GMA Network, including Johnny Manahan, choose him as one of their newest exclusive artists.
“Siguro po ‘yung personality ko po, sobrang laking factor no’n. Marunong akong makisama, wala akong pinipiling tao, mataas man o mababa. I treat them as equal. Siguro masasabi ko, funny ako,” he said during a virtual media conference.
Before becoming one of the members of Sparkada, Maristela was a child actor, having been part of the 2007 film Ang Cute ng Ina Mo! that starred Ai-Ai delas Alas. He returns to acting in the upcoming Kapuso series LUV IS: Caught in His Arms this time.
The 21-year-old talent admitted he was happy to be back, especially now that he is working with two of GMA Network’s newest young stars, Sofia Pablo and Allen Ansay.
“Masarap sa pakiramdam na nakabalik ako sa akting, na gusto ko ‘yung ginagawa ko. Kasi matagal ko na siyang gusto, pangarap. Sobrang swerte ko rin na nakatrabaho ko sina Sofia at si Allen kasi ang gagaling nilang umarte. Grabe yung guidance and tips na binigay nila sa’min.”
Among the tips he received from them were to own his space and never shy away from his emotions.
In the meantime, the series also includes his fellow Sparkada members Raheel Bhyria, Michael Sager, Sean Lucas, Caitlyn Stave, Cheska Fausto, and Tanya Ramos.
