At the media conference for Girlfriend Na Pwede Na, which LionhearTV covered on January 6, Viva actors Jerald Napoles and Kim Molina dubbed their co-star Gab Lagman the next generation’s leading man.
The real-life celebrity couple was ‘all praise’ with their co-star in the upcoming Viva Films romantic comedy.
‘Eh kasi si Gab, promising leading man talaga ‘to eh. Materyal–materyales pwerdes,’ said Napoles.
‘He’s the next hottest leading man of this generation. Wala props po talaga ako dito,’ Molina added.
Lagman then talked about his experience being on screen with the Viva pair, citing the other projects he worked on with them before.
“First of all, I’m a fan of KimJe talaga. Naka-work ko na po sila– Love The Way You Lie (Kim) and Mang Jose (Jerald) and sobrang thankful and blessed na naka-work ko sila kasi ‘yun nga, when I was doing a scene with Kim. I was like, nadadala talaga sa eksena. Thankful ako na nakasama ko sila. Ang dami kong natutunan sa kanila.”
Molina also discussed her insights having Lagman and her beau Napoles as her leading men.
“Gab is such a sweet man– he’s ‘very/ sweet.’ Jerald, kaldag to eh. Different level. I’m just happy– he is him– he has his own identity.”
As for the romantic comedy film, Kim Molina stars in Girlfriend Na Pwede Na with Jerald Napoles and Gab Lagman.
The cast also features Tomas Rodriguez, Heart Ryan, Nicole Omillo, Andrea Barbierra, Prince Estefan, and Gene Padilla.
The Viva romantic comedy film directed by Benedict Mique premieres on January 18 in cinemas.
