On June 8, Kapuso stars Kyline Alcantara and Mavy Legaspi recalled their last “kilig-filled” moment.
At the media conference for ‘LUV IS: Love at First ‘ which LionhearTV covered, Alcantara revealed that she felt giddy after hearing Legaspi call her his world during a Fast Talk interview.
“Last na kinilig, huh? Siguro po noong last po na kinilig ako kay Mavy noong nanood po ako ng Fast Talk po niya kahapon. Siguro po ‘yun ‘yung last time.”
She revealed, “Siguro po noong, sinabi niya na I’m his world kay Tito Boy. Kasi siyempre, sino naman po ang hindi kikiligin doon. At kasi first time ko rin lang naman po makaramdam ng ganong tipo ng appreciation na galing sa isang tao, so kaya po ako kinilig.”
Legaspi responded to his co-star’s statement by affirming that he always feels giddy when Alcantara stares at him.
“Yung last time na kinilig ako ay few seconds ago. Lagi akong kinikilig actually kapag nakatitig siya sa akin kasi sinasabi ng mga mata ni Kyline, na kapag nakatitig siya sa akin, ang sinasabi po ng mga mata niya ay, ‘wag mong sagutin ‘yun, hindi joke lang.”
As for their roles, Alcantara cited their difference from their pairing between ‘I Left My Heart in Sorsogon’ and ‘LUV IS: Love at First Read.’
“Para sa akin po, ‘yung mga past po kasi na mga nagagawa ko na mga series before or projects ay puro dramatic. Ito po yung second actually, kasi nagkaroon na po ako ng I Left My Heart in Sorsogon, but this is the second po na RomCom.”
She shared, “It was so good, ako naman po kasi talaga ‘yung tipo ng tao na gusto ko po talagang nag-eexplore, lalong lalo na pagdating sa aking craft. So ang sarap sa pakiramdam, lalo na at pinagkatiwalaan ako ng GMA, ng Sparkle to do this type of series.”

The cast also includes a mix of new GMA artists and seasoned actors, such as Josh Ford, Pam Prinster, Bruce Roeland, Larkin Castor, Therese Malvar, Mariel Pamintuan, Gabby Gueco, Kiel Gueco, Marco Masa, Maricar De Mesaaa, Jackie Lou Blanco, and Jestoni Alarcon.
The Kapuso adaptation of Chixnita’s Wattpad novel, directed by Mark Sicat Dela Cruz, premieres June 12 via GMA Network.
