“Pira-Pirasong Paraiso,” one of ABS-CBN and TV5’s newest series, filled viewers’ afternoons with mystery and thrill as its pilot episode premiered on Tuesday (July 25) and scored multiple trending topics on social media.
The suspenseful and emotionally-packed episode, which premiered with 54,547 live concurrent views on Kapamilya Online Live on YouTube, introduced the family of con-artists, led by adopted sisters Baby (Loisa Andalio) and Hilary (Elisse Joson), and their struggles to help their family overcome poverty. In one of their house break-in operations, they almost blew their cover when they crossed paths with a policeman named Jonaf (Ronnie Alonte), and a young, wealthy second wife, Diana (Charlie Dizon), who they will both get to know soon on a deeper level.
On social media, netizens praised the acting prowess displayed by the cast, as well as the intriguing storyline that kept viewers on the edge of their seats.
In the succeeding episodes, viewers can look forward to shocking revelations as the characters of Alexa Ilacad, KD Estrada, and Joseph Marco get involved in the story. The series intensifies as Baby pretends to be the long-lost sister of Diana, which will gain the interest of a journalist named Angela (Alexa). The impending closeness of Baby and Diana will also spark jealousy towards Hilary.
