ABS-CBN’s afternoon series “Angelito: Batang Ama” ended on a very high note as its finale episode last Friday (April 13) with a high TV viewership as reflected in the national TV ratings data of Kantar Media. It obtained an 18% TV ratings nationwide, considerably high for an afternoon series.
The cast and production staff of “Angelito: Batang Ama” treated fans with a special screening at the Dolphy Theater in ABS-CBN for the finale together with their idols led by JM De Guzman, Charee Pineda, and Kaye Abad.
The crowd was all eyes on the wide screen as Angelito and Rosalie shared a tear-jerking moment when they found each other at the place where their love for each other began. They went wild, however, when the two shared a passionate and daring kissing scene.
Apart from JM, Charee, and Kaye, the other cast members who attended were Elizabeth Oropesa, Al Tantay, Jason Francisco, Tom Rodriguez, Devon Zeron, Josef Elizalde, Lemuel Pelayo, Beauty Gonzalez, Joshen Bernardo, Bea Basa, and Eliza Pineda.
“Angelito: Batang Ama” tells the story of Angelito, who at a young age, faced face the responsibility of being a father after he accidentally got his high school girlfriend pregnant.
Viewers followed his colorful journey from his struggles as a young father learning the ropes of raising a child to finding a job to provide for his son’s needs. They witnessed the hardships and challenges he went through his life until he was reunited with Rosalie and his family again.
“Angelito: Batang Ama” tackled the sensitive topics of teenage pregnancy and presented the perspective of the young father, which is hardly portrayed, discussed or tackled.

sobrang ganda ng story.sna po my book2 ang luv story nina angelito at rosalie kc bagay n bagay cla.galing nilang umarte at na-gave justice nla mga character nila.
KUNG MAY PART 2 SANA,SANA MY BAGONG LUBLYF NA SI JENNY,HINDI YUNG HINAHABOL NYA PA RIN SI ANGELITO,
honestly,it’s the two main characters (charee and jm)who got me addicted on this show , not the entire story. although, i have to admit, hanga ako na maraming lessons naibigay ang show na ‘to. i love d first few episodes then d ending…so hard to watch iyong mga in between. KAKAIBA kasi ang naging role ng main leading-lady na si charee,bida siya but ginawang nakakainis ang character niya dahil matagal na di napanindigan ang kanyang mag-ama, kahit pa noong naging adult na siya. kaye’s character , on the other hand, ay maganda, consistent… all d way , nanindigan siya, pareho personality nila ni angelito.no wonder , maraming nagkagusto sa character niya. but sa end ,na-justify ang story, true love triumphs and nabuo ang tunay na pamilya, something na mahalaga sa ating mga Fils., kudos to d whole cast!
Sobrang ganda ng story ng Angelito. Bilib ako sa mga lead characters. halos mamaga na ang mga mata ni JM at charee. tunay silang mga artista. na justify nilang mabuti ang mga roles nila. Sana masundan uli. Ito ang teleserye na nagbigay aral sa mga kabataan na madaling matukso sa kamunduhan. Congrats din sa director at sa mga ibang mga staffs.
