Joey de Leon humored Ruby Rodriguez and asked if she still recognizes her fellow Eat Bulaga! co-hosts after leaving for the US.
On January 10, via an Instagram post, Pauleen Luna shared her birthday greetings to her fellow Eat Bulaga! co-host Rodriguez.
“I lived my best single years because of YOU! May it be our adventures abroad or just simply lounging in Mapangakit with dusters on. THANK YOU.
“You may be far in distance but will always be in my heart (as in andito ka lang sa Pinas) [heart emoji] I love you my BFF @rodriguezruby! Happy, happy birthday!!!!” the caption said.
“I love you forever and always [heart emoji] thank you, BFF! Not a day passes that I don’t miss you,” Rodriguez replied to the post.

De Leon also shared his birthday wishes for Rodriguez. He jokingly asked if the latter still knows how to speak Tagalog: “Marunong pa kaya si Ruby mag-Tagalog? Kilala pa kaya nya tayo? Well, Maligayang Kaarawan is Happy Birthday in case you know!”
Rodriguez was a TV host for Eat Bulaga! She was part of its production for more than 31 years.
She disappeared in the noontime show during the surge of the COVID-19.
Now, Rodriguez is an employee of the Philippine Consulate General in Los Angeles, California, USA.
