After the success of their MMFF movie together titled “Vince & Kath & James,” Kapamilya stars Julia Barretto and Joshua Garcia are set to do another movie under Star Cinema.
According to its director Antoinette Jadaone, the movie is about: “Tungkol siya sa isang lalaki na na-meet ang isang sobrang weird na babae, loka-lokang babae na sa sobrang weird niya, naniniwala siya sa aliens. Si Joshua, hindi siya naniniwala sa aliens pero dahil nagustuhan niya si Julia sa unang pagkakita niya, na-endear siya sa kanya. So sinakyan niya ‘yung pagkagusto ni Julia sa aliens.”
On this JoshLia’s reunion project, Joshua can’t contain his excitement. He said, “Ako sobrang excited na ako, hindi lang sa character. Excited ako maka-work si direk, siyempre magsasama ulit kami ni Julia.”
Julia on the other hand is also excited for she will do something new again, different from her past project. She shared, “Ako very excited for this project and this role that was given by direk and Star Cinema because different siya from VKJ definitely. ‘Yung role na gagawin ko dito, not something I’ve done before. Sa kwento pa lang ni direk, parang ang challenging na niya.”
Julia also explained why her other love team Ronnie Alonte is not included in this project. “I don’t think he’s part of this because he’s doing another movie that is also under Star Cinema,” Julia added.
