On January 26, Miss Universe Philippines 2022, Celeste Cortesi expressed gratitude for her first acting project with GMA Network via Walang Matigas na Pulis sa Matinik na Misis Season Two.
At the media conference Walang Matigas na Pulis sa Matinik na Misis Season Two, which LionhearTV covered, Cortesi highlighted how different her first acting project was from her pageantry and modeling experiences.
“Well, this is my first role in GMA, so when they told me about this, I was [just really] happy and grateful. And. of course, thank you to GMA and Senator Bong for the opportunity. It’s something very different from what I [actually] do–because I do pageantry and modeling, and this is my first time getting into acting.”
She then considered her venture into acting projects as part of her growth as a personality.
“But I think this is the best growth I could ask for– it’s an opportunity to learn, and I know we are all professionals here. And we gave such [amazing] performances. So, for me, it’s an opportunity to grow and learn and start my acting career.”
She then attested to how the cast of the Kapuso sitcom made her feel like she was already part of their family.
“I haven’t started taping yet because it’s [going to] begin in the next few weeks, but I had the chance to meet them during the Christmas Party and the photo shoot, and they’re such amazing people. Sobrang mabait talaga. And even though I haven’t started taping yet, I feel I’m already part of the family, so I’m very grateful.”
